Tillerson then reviewed the plan, which included arms sales to Saudi Arabia and a “roadmap” for the future of the US-Saudi relationship. Kushner contacted me and said: You know, I’d like for you to meet with this person so they can review – this is what we’ve been working on for some time, so you could take a look at that,” Tillerson said during his interview. His portfolio has expanded to include a globe-spanning collection of foreign assignments.īut it was Kushner’s involvement in issues related to the Middle East policy presented particular problems for Tillerson, especially those involving Saudi Arabia, as the President’s son-in-law has maintained close personal ties with the Kingdom’s Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman. When asked about this characterization, Kushner’s camp has pushed back. ![]() “There was not a real clear understanding of the role, responsibilities, authorities, and whatnot, which made it challenging for everyone, I think, in terms of how to deal with any activities that might be undertaken by others that were not defined within the national security process itself,” he said. Kushner refuses to say if US backs two-state solution to Israeli-Palestinian conflict While Tillerson said that he later learned that the two men discussed matters that had already been run through the State Department and had his approval, he said that the foreign minister “was rather shocked” to learn that Kushner had not told the then-secretary about their meeting beforehand. So, with all that taken into account, is Overcooked 2! worth the purchase? I would say it is, for sure. ![]() Even if you don’t buy it, take a look at some screenshots, you won’t regret it. The food, the characters, the food, the locations, the food, the world map, everything is so finely detailed and interesting to look at. ![]() This is a game that just looks good, there’s no other real way of saying it. The last thing I’d like to bring up is the wonderfully cartoony visuals on display. Switching back and forth between characters in single-player is a bit rough starting off, but you eventually get the hang of it. Other than that, there’s not much to say about, it’s pretty solid through and through. This is definitely one of my favourite aspects of the title as it requires that you know how to play the game, something that games seem to forget sometimes with their overdrawn tutorial levels. Right off the bat, you notice that there is a certain amount of skill required to actually get good scores in Overcooked 2! The good news is, you can sort of fumble your way to a win if you really need to, but if you want to start getting some real points, then practice makes perfect. So with progression and story having been discussed, let’s move to gameplay. I’m not some stick in the mud however, there were a couple of lines here and there that made me chuckle so there is some decent comedic storytelling going on. Listen, I like making terrible puns as much as the next writer, but the effect of this type of comedy is so groan-inducing that it legitimately almost took me out of the game. Although he succeeds in doing this, he also raises (and bear with me here) the Unbread… the Unbread. So get this, you’re in the Onion Kingdom right, and the Onion King has decided to try and put together an ancient recipe. This is all, unfortunately, due to the title’s writing. Now, going back a bit, I’d like to talk a bit about the story of Overcooked 2! Long story short, I would have to say that this is the weakest part of this game’s… well, game. Think of it like a job well done after a hard day’s work, except the job is virtual cooking. Of course, there are also rewards that come along with completing the tasks at hand, but it’s more the sense of achievement that makes it all worth it in the end. The bonus is, that challenge is what drives you to make it through the story and learn the recipes. It has the ability to go from “well this isn’t that bad” to “what happened?! What happened!?!” in a blink of an eye. ![]() Progression has always been important in games, but in Overcooked 2!, the ongoing challenge is what gives this title its kick. The most notable tune-up seems to be in regards to the flow of the game and how the difficulty ramps up after going through sections in the story. That isn’t the only upgrade though, no sir, as there are also advancements in other departments of this game. So yes, with all the roundabout commentary out of the way, Overcooked 2! is an absolute joy that does single-player and multiplayer (dare I say) even better than the first instalment. Now, with Overcooked 2!, the gameplay is even more dedicated to making you enjoy it, not just with other people mind you, but also as a solo option. Sure, you could do everything yourself if you wanted, but then you’d just be ruining the experience. It was a wonderful combination of hectic teamwork and blind trust that you really don’t see in other multiplayer titles. There is hope, though! Recently, the fine folks over at Team17 Digital Limited and Ghost Town Games heard my tears hitting the floor and developed a sequel to their co-op cooking gem, Overcooked! Now if only I had friends to play it with…Īll jokes aside, I must say, I loved the original Overcooked! and it’s local co-op function. When push comes to shove, the food ends up charcoaled which causes me to cry over my lack of any and all culinary skills. I’ll be honest with you dear reader, I’m terrible at cooking. History & Physical – Recognize signs, symptoms, risk factors, and complications for a specific disease. In the 2023 update, the levels have changed to become the following performance expectation groupings: Alternatively, essential hypertension was categorized as a Level 3 topic, which would require the test taker to not only make the diagnosis, but also interpret diagnostic studies, recommend first-line treatment, and demonstrate knowledge of contraindications and complications. In the 2019–2022 version of the blueprint, topics were rated as Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3, with each level increasing in the depth of expected knowledge.įor example, bundle branch block was categorized as a Level 1 topic, which would only require the test taker to be able to diagnose the condition and refer appropriately. The biggest change in the expanded version of the blueprint appears to be the grouping of performance expectation levels. For example, the 2019–2022 version listed the individual valvular disorders (e.g., mitral regurgitation, mitral valve prolapse), while in the 2023 update, all valvular disorders are now in one category. The expanded version of the content blueprint for 2023 includes the addition of new topics (e.g., myocarditis, dental pain/abscess, acute liver failure) and the regrouping of previous topics. Additionally, a new “emerging topics” area was officially added. **It should be noted that hematology was left off of the posted blueprint update for 2023, though it can still be found on the expanded version. Based on feedback from PAs, topic areas either increased, decreased, or stayed the same. So, what’s different in the 2023 blueprint update compared to the 2019–2022 version? Distribution of topicsįirst, the percentage allocation of questions is different between the previous blueprint and the 2023 updates. In addition to the percentage allocation of questions to specific topic areas, there is an expanded version of the blueprint that provides a more in-depth breakdown of specific diseases and disorders under each topic area along with the degree to which the condition may be assessed. This allows PAs the opportunity to give feedback on whether a specific medical topic should be considered “core medical knowledge”-ultimately, the basis for the recertification examination. The blueprint is developed by NCCPA based on the results of practice analysis surveys sent to certified PAs. The overarching story follows the protagonist, a customizable Avatar named Corrin by default, as they are unwillingly drawn into a war between the Kingdoms of Hoshido (their birthplace) and Nohr (their adopted home), and must choose which side to support. Unlike previous titles, Fates was released in three versions, each following a different storyline centered on the same characters: Birthright and Conquest as physical releases, and Revelation as downloadable content. It is the fourteenth installment in the Fire Emblem series and the second to be developed for Nintendo 3DS after Fire Emblem Awakening. Fire Emblem Fates is a tactical role-playing video game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld video game console, developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo SPD and published by Nintendo. Now convection, this is around the idea that hot air is less dense. So that is definitely happening when we look at a fire like this, that neighboring molecules are bumping into other molecules and transferring energy. Things with higher kinetic energy are bumping into things with lower kinetic energy and transferring some of that kinetic energy and they're transferring some of that momentum. And we have a whole video on thermal conduction, but that's what's happening. And then they're going to bump into other molecules that might not have quite as high kinetic energy, but then they're going to transfer that kinetic energy through these collisions. And so the ones that just combusted, or the molecules right near the reaction, or maybe the ones that were part of the reaction, they're gonna have this really high, they're gonna have this really high average kinetic energy 'cause all of this energy was released from that combustion reaction. ![]() And remember, temperature is proportional to average kinetic energy. And that energy is going to excite the molecules that are around it, so you have these molecules, you have these molecules that end up getting a lot of kinetic energy. But you're taking carbon molecules and their bonds and then in the presence of oxygen and some heat you have a combustion reaction producing carbon dioxide and producing water and even more energy than you put into it, so it's producing a lot of energy. So what is the conduction going on? Well what we have going on in the fuel for our fire, so down here the fuel for our fire we have our classic combustion reaction and I encourage you to watch the video on that in our chemistry playlist, or chemistry section if you're interested in it. And I could say thermal conduction, thermal convection, and thermal radiation, and the word thermal is just relating to things dealing with temperature. So I'll do this, thermal, thermal radiation, thermal radiation. We're observing conduction, conduction, convection, convection, convection, and thermal radiation all at the same time. ![]() When we observe what we call fire we have this combustion reaction going on and then we see these flames what we're really observing are the three forms of thermal energy transfer. (Well, unless you are directly ABOVE the fire, but then you are in big trouble. Convection will take the heat straight up, and there is no way the fire's heat can reach you by conduction outdoors since the volume of air is so enormous and any air that does get warm will rise. Another way to be almost certain that it is radiation is if you suddenly block the direct path from the fire to your face with something (a piece of paper or even your hands), and you immediately feel a big difference in how warm your face feels, it is radiation.įinally, if you are sitting near a fire OUTDOORS, then the warmth you feel has certainly got to be radiation. Did the fire just heat up all the air in the room (conduction), did it heat some air that flowed over to you due to drafts or currents (convection), or is the heat reaching you in the form of infrared waves (radiation)? One way to know that it is almost surely radiation is if the side of you facing the fire feels much warmer than the side of you facing away from the fire. Sometimes it can be difficult to know whether the heat you feel is due to conduction, convection, or radiation. |
